A new poem in Willows Wept Review. And again, I appear next to Helen Losse. Nice…
Thanks, Lucas Long, for the idea. Poem #45 in the manuscript.

Two years ago, while housesitting at my wonderful friend Gerry’s mansion, I composed a series of poems and subsequent films called “The 12 Days of VD.”
Here is one of my favorite films from that time–offering one sweet and one sour poem. Enjoy!
New poem in Hobble Creek Review. One of the other poets is Helen Losse, poetry editor for the wonderful Dead Mule School of Southern Literature. She has a gorgeous poem, called “In Winter.” Check out the table of contents here.
The new (annual) issue of Kansas City Voices is out, and it looks slick and sharp. I’m so pleased that my poem appears on page 12!
Here it is. Click on the poem, so you can read it in a new, larger window.
I’m delighted that this poem, “Hail and Lilac Remembered,” found a home.
This is really fun to post because one of the editors actually approached me and asked me to submit. It’s a British literary magazine, and I just received my contributor’s copy in the mail today. The little magazine looks great! Several fine poets in the issue. I’m very pleased.

Hi folks. I’m a big believer in keeping one’s website design fresh, so I’ve made some fun changes. I loved Posterous, and you should, too. But for my purposes, WordPress is it. Enjoy the newness.
This weekend, I attened the Ozarks Symposium. It’s hosted by Missouri State West Plains every September. If you missed it this year, check it out next.
